Project Report Format

Each student taking a senior project should submit a written report at the end of the spring semester. To have standard reports the following format has been prepared: Each report should include the given sections in the shown order. The report should also have a cover page containing the department name, project title, student name and number, advisor name, semester-year.

  1. Project Title
  2. Summary: This section describes the aim of the project in not more than three sentences.
  3. Introduction: Describe activities related to the subject of the project, and explain the differences between your work and others and give the scope of your project and non-functional requirements
  4. Body of the report: Explain your project in detail. Mention the methods you have used. Give your considerations in design and analysis stages.
  5. Conclusions: Write the experimental results of your projects and discuss them.
  6. References: If you have used any references while doing your project, put them here.
